Rob, try Aviva, Tesco, Direct Line & there's also a broker in Liverpool choice quote, they do both normal & trade policies.

The comparison sites are a joke. Talk to a real person & you'll get a deal.

I always use price comparison sites. Then go back to my insurer with the cheapest quote. Nearly always works.
I use Need To Insure for my BMW and Helen's Mini.

I hear what your saying Kev, but as an example my brother wanted a Mondeo ST estate.
He found a car then set about getting a quote, the best he could get down to on a comparison website was around £900, I know premiums have risen recently but that is taking the pizz.

He then tried a couple of the ones I mentioned above & I don't think there was a lot in it but Tesco's came in best at £545 but that included screen cover, courtesy car etc.....

                    Insurance

I have also heard NFU National Farmers Union are very competetive too.
I use Saga, for my Merc C class 220d ,its £104,my Sorento was £94,but has crept up to £138,but no one else can get anywhere near.
feel Swiftcover.com have upped their prices lately though.
driving school car is £239 ,but with an specialist Driving School insurer, buts thats ANY driver.
Make,s these young lads, who can be quoted any thing up to £5K for even the smallest car angry!!!
