Just incase you've not heard , Rod Tarry's M.A . Developments built turbo cossie engine hit 809bhp on a rolling road day yesterday !!!!!
This is Dyno-Dynamics proven power as well so it will be 1000bhp on all the crappy pub dynos everyone uses , lol .
Mental power from a 2 litre .

Big power gas, we did 750 from 2litres about 8 years ago, then if it ran on methanol it went to 850.

But we don't do turbo engines anymore,
lot of setting up and hastle.

I've heard of a few more big bangers being built recently

They've got another 200bhp of nitrous to go on top of the 809bhp yet !!!!
It's on 2.8bar of boost with a huge blower the size of a space hooper , must be entertaining on the road in a crappy looking Saff cossie , lol .

Must be fun in the 500rpm power band between 5,800 and 6250 rpm where 300bhp comes on tap!

I went in this car when it had a tad over 500 ponys under the bonnet. bloody awesome but 800 eeeeek thats some mortgage on the house

Nothing bad against mark mate but the last one rod had a few reliability issues with the block didn't it ?
