Corsa VXR all the way.
Seat Cupra, phah! yeah they are quick. But its a Seat and plastic fantastic interior. Nice Audi engine though.
The Corsa in my opinion is a far better car.

both cars are nice gra,but if you buy a new vauxhall,you get a life warranty on the car,now that carnt be a bad thing can it??? my brothers got a focus st3,he loves it and it does sound nice,but my mk1 focus rs is quicker,its a tuff choice for your other half,best of luck...

You'll need the warranty with a Vauxhall, and plenty of gaffa tape!!

I disagree, its just luck of the draw on the car. I have a 2006 Astra SRi its the CDTi 150 and now having owned it nearly five years I can tell you that I have not been just Sunday driving. I have had only one warranty problem in the first 1000 miles the EGR valve was replaced. Since that I ragged it to and from work for five years and never had another problem.....YET. Its (quite) fast and for me very reliable. Although starting to feel tired so will be changed this year.

what a good choice of car mrs john....

very,very nice graham,i love this colour,im thinking/hoping of getting the new focus rs this summer in that lovely green,so i will be asking questions on how well its been performing,dont forget pictures of you and the other half picking up the beast,carnt wait to see it at the shows this year...

I`m a bit late on this but i would of said the ST3. Just bought an 08 facelift model in Electric Orange. I cant stop smiling every time i go out in it.
