How do i get hold of previous owners of my car so i can trace back the cars history, is it dvla or a web address i can use.

send a form off to dvla & some cash they will send you a copy of all
old reg docs as for mots etc dont htink this is available

down load it of the DVLA web site you must be the owner of the vehicle for the information you request

here's the form, send it off with a fiver and wait about six weeks

First piece of paperwork usually lodged with DVLA is application for first road tax, filled in by supplying dealer, sometimes has salesmans name on paperwork

I've never had any MOT stuff back on the searches I have done, MOT are responsiblity of VOSA not DVLA

Only way I can see this happening is with Computerised MOT certificates

Deffo cant see this happening with hand written MOT certs

copies of old V5's but no MOT's, Deffo!!

Just sent away my form and payment yesterday so looking forward to seeing what comes back
