I have been all thru this,,,end of the day it dont make a great deal of difference.
If you are still useing a BT line its crap which ever ISP you use
If you are lucky and have fibre broadbanf I beleve Virgin is good

Virgin cable here for 10yrs.

Solid 10 Meg every day and night, TV M+ with the HD recorder box (just the freeview stuff with a bit more), free evening and W/E calls for £32 per month.

The HD boxes go wrong but no problems with Virgin customer services changing them.

bt vision for me its crap always going off sick of talking to foreigners tried to cancel wanted 300 quid to turn vision off 100 quid to turn internet off and 90 quid to turn phone off i cannot wait till contract is up they can p issoff

Virgin uses it's own cable network. No BT connection required.

goverment 10 million pound scheme to upgrade


only get 5meg through bt line here and paying for 8

you think thats bad ,we've got satelite broadband ,customer services 0 and most nights you have a cup o tea waiting for a page to load and forget about you tube and bt is no use either
