        the guy who bought the RS1800 is has it, still has about 28,000 miles on the clock as well, lovely old car, ex Lord Beaverbrook

          he lives just up the road from me guess that advert must be 20 yrs old or more trying to think when the dialling codes changed to 5 digits that 18 looks

                It will be 1993/4 maybe 92 the 1800 was at Stanford Hall may time for sale on a stand with the advert. It was good money at the time

                          I still have the ad from the early nineties , I thought long and hard about buying the x but being lhd I didn't go through with it , but it was on sale for nearly a year before it went . If ony it was those prices now

                            So how much would these cars fetch in today's Market ?

                            The rs18 with 28k on the clock ???????

                            And the series x with 11k on the clock ??????

                            And the price difference being only 3k back in the day .

                            Also was this series x not a ford press car being in robsons book of escorts , and only that and geralds x being the only two left that ford made for press / road testing as the others are are not known of where they still exist or don't ?

                              weve seen 5 cars top the 40k mark last year, one knocking on the door of 50k, and one car seeing well above that, cant say price, but was a 30k on the clock and imo the one to have. havent seen it for a few years but will be out and about this year....maybe next weekend
