  • July 23rd 1976 price list

Got a load of old classic mags off a lad at work (his dad was having a clear out) inside a 76 copy of car mechanics found a price list for the then NEW RS cars.

    Mex £2672.15 (inc vat)
    RS2 £3124.35
    RS18 £3358.34
    RS18 Custom £3500.70

    Options
    Static belts £19.74
    Radio £80.07
    Signal paint £13.27
    Fog lamp £10.95
    6" alloys (exp RS2) £134.58
51/2" sports wheels RS2 only (£68.49) Assume price reduction but doesnt say.
    Remote drivers mirror £16.99
    BVR £39.02
    Tinted glass £31.70
Reclining seats with headrests (Mex only) £40.42
    Comp Buckets RS2 only (£40.42)
22mm bodyside strips RS2 only No charge
Delete bodyside strips/decal RS18 No charge.

The broadstripe stripe is much wider than 22mm so assume this must be the later Normal twin stripe with bullet?

When did the broadstripe stop as only started selling them in Jan 76.

Oh for a time machine eh
