I cycled 8 mls last night after sitting in a carpark that is the main rd to get one of our pumps on the run and the army were in with landrovers taking paramedics to their calls.

fella from works wife sat on a bus at 18:00 on stepps bypass and one of our lads gave her a lift from muirhead at 2:30 (about 3 miles for those who dont know the area )

                      Nightmare !

                      night shift tonight again

roads have been crazy!...gridlock everywhere yesterday!...not to mention the amount of motors just abandoned here there and everywhere is the daftest places!

The girlfriends folks were stuck on the motorway in there car for 24hours

We eventually got home yesterday in the works van after 6 1/2 hrs....took 5 1/5 hrs to get home then an extra hour to drag the van in with the land rover....I have never seen snow as deep in a long time!....let the front tyres down on van and tried to attempt the drive up to house but van bellied out in 15-18'' of snow and it was a no go!...disco dragged it up and we left it in back yard till this morning....

So today was mostly sorting out back yard....eventually got van parked and then had to start on my mums car which was under a gazeebo which collapsed on the roof, with the weight of snow! lol

After that I got the quad out and ripped it all up!

Prob will attempt to get to work tomorrow but it wont be in the van!...and no 2wd car getting out the driveway

                          some fud out jogging! wtf!!!!?

                          walkers...

theres a road in here somewhere....

van dragged in..check out snow in bumper lol

                          dragging/tow vehicle lol...

                          Oops!!!

These boys love the snow! lol...(pic taken last week..before the heavy snow! lol)

Heres some vids of the snow ripping!

                          Before the deep snow....

                          deep snow....

0ne of the worst days i can ever remember , had 12 inches yesterday fell on top of the snow that melted and turned to ice. now the temp has dropped to -18 outside is just stopped all the cars trains buses , baisicaly anything that could move , people trapped overnight in various forms of transport, then all the school kids had to sleep over at schools , looks like its here untill next week at the earliest . things are very bad here in central scotland .
