Coldest November night on record in parts of UK
Temperatures plummeted to the coldest on record for November in many parts of the UK overnight.
Northern Ireland reached a new low of -8.6C (17F) at Aldegrove, in Belfast, while in Sennybridge, in Powys, the record was broken with -14.3C (6F)
In Loch Glascarnoch, in the Highlands, it was -15.3C (4F), and in Shawbury, in Shropshire, the low was -12.5C (10F).
