Fish Tank.

Only ever had a Goldfish in a bowl but want a reasonable sized tank for some tropical swimmers.
What is a reasonable size that won't require loads of maintainance, or does size not matter, more what you put in it?

I used to keep tropicsl fish years ago. I would say the best to go for is a 2ft tank. Its a nice size that will hold if i remember right 20 - 30 fish depending on breed.
Get an intank filter too as it does everything - cleans the water , aerates it too. Needs a clean out about once a week, and thats it.
Feed them once a day and there you go
Get some bottom bottom scavengers too (cat fish etc etc to keep the stones clean)
Sit back and enjoy
