from memory ,
not very buffty but ... ( group 4 boys do it in the forest )
a piece of pipe, 3 inch long, with a snug fitting bolt shoved in to blank end
and ...
like you say 8mm bolt .. with a few shiny clamps :cyclops:

brian,
I just checked a block.
Its 10 mm iso metric [std metric thread]
However.....
Length wise be very careful.
Its a blind hole.
There wasnt any thread for 4 to 5mm in the hole and if u put to long a bolt in it will break the block.
Make sure there is no silicone in hole, either.
So might be best to take off und check it carefully.
Now
Thats an aftermarket WP.
See they hang alt adjuster off of lug ear. Depending on which alt brkt u got it will snap it off sooner or later.
Also
The Ford one has a full impeller, which resists cavitation than that one.

Heed the Oz's warning Brian as I once broke off that same bolt in that same hole when it bottomed out - cost me £500 for a new GP1 block.
