  • Gp4 preparation

    Hi.

I'm looking for someone to do me a grp4 conversion on my shell and just wondered who on here has had it done and with who?

I saw one in a mag the other day done by SKN rally services and it looked stunning.

Those that c bradley do look awesome too. I'll bet the price is on par with it too.

    Regards David.

Can you please tell me to what spec yours got done to and can i be cheeky and ask how much? Pm me if you don't want to broadcast it. I'm cool if you don't want to say anything at all though.

      Regards David.

If your handy with the welder and have good basic fabrication skills try it yourself, I did mine all on my own and I am really pleased with the way it turned out, I obviously cannot claim that it is a GRP4 car but as I don't ever plan on selling it doesn't matter.

Mine was done 10 years ago,so prices will vary

Gartrac 6 linked/turrets/and welded in cage.

                Also done and axle/brakes/suspension/pedal box.

Never let me down, putting good power through the parts.
                But ONLY on the road

If you want a more modern twist of gp4 mods then try Retromotorsport in Harlow Essex . He does all sorts of chassis mods for circuit/tarmac cars so may be what you're after .
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

Thanks for the replies lads. I went to the RS show and my god did me and the missus fall in love with a Bubble arched mk1. There was 3 together. The orange one looked amazing. Looks like i'm gonna have to sell my 205 now to fund two projects.

                      Regards David
