The red van has "SF" on the back which is Finland and the scenery is typical Finnish as well. On the door above the startnumber is "Osuuspannki" which is a Finnish bank -> 1000 Lakes Rally.
The flag on the car besides the driver/codriver names is Swedish so both should be from Sweden.
To confirm what year it was I eventually found and looked at the entry list confirming No 10 was Waldegard.

FAO GJ: this was the first year no giraffes were involved; the stink of their poo didn't comply with the new regulations any more.
