not a nice job that, i remember i'd just got mine back in after the engine refurb and found out there was a faulty oil pump in there and had to take it straight back out again after the first start up, it will be good to see you getting it back in this week, well done stig

hope not too much damage done Kevin..... dont want to jump in on your bad luck but I need to buy a pump for my engine (std RS 2.0) ,what is the best ? do ford still have them?

not silly at all, i said the same thing to kev...also mentioned getting an external gauge to eliminate the one in the car...same thing really.

not sure if he tried that tho

Put another gauge on it Monday (Electronic one) and it just reads the same as the original, Never goes above 55psi and drops to below 20 on tick over.
