As long as it's next to a drag strip or track etc as static car shows in fields are crap usually (unless you've never seen an Escort before) lol
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

Sorry Gaz, but nothing bores me more than a drag strip.......so they are not everyones cup of tea Track action is ok though Some shows are better than others......but in my opinion, drives / tours are best, and there are plenty of them around for those who like to drive their cars

A track for me, not a strip.
But not a huge track and somewhere that is good for spectators, like Lydden?
Why do we pay others to do a job we did ourselves?

              Ever paid for conveyancing?

Look at Classicfords show its self, fewer and fewer actual classics going, and more and more Focus's etc

the trouble is when car shows become bigger and bigger the organizers tend to get greedier and greedier.they start charging more and more for admission prices and for entering your car without which there wouldn`t be a car show.

That's exactly why 4 of us got together earlier in the year to discuss organising a Classic Ford Meeting over here. After initial talks to get an indoor event started, Aad found a new venue. The owners are very enthousiastic as well of organising Classic Car Shows so we now have a GO.
As we are not a club, we were very happy that the owner agreed that we do not pay for the area, and that he can keep all monies from the gate. We just have to make sure enough people and cars come to the meeting.
