I've not read this thread as I've just got in from the pub and am way too ****ed. I think money is a poor excuse, the reason there is no crack is either peeps are bored - it happens

Or there are peeps who take this site way too seriously, you have a bit of a laugh or post something dumb waiting for a comical retort, and some stiff shoots it down all serious and shit, to the point it ain't even worth trying now
    !

The mk2 scene is ok till u start meeting the anal RSOC blokes that hate u having anything 2 do with any other forum or club then the whole thing gets ruined and u feel wrong owning one. Just my honest opinion and what i felt

you are a prized plonker you, i put a post up about info on another car i was thinking of buying the misses and you got arsey cause it wasnt "escort talk" get a feckin life jimmer.

i'm losing interest fast - no time, and 12 hr shifts are bloody knackering and trying to spend time with my family on my days off means no time to spend on my escort. I am getting to the stage where the cost of parts is putting me off and at the end of the day i will end up with a car that i will take to 2 or 3 shows a year and maybe drive once or twice a week

i keep in touch with who i want to off here and know who my good friends are and this site is more about friendship to me than talking about 30 year old money pits.

Escort scene alive and kicking in Ireland.
There are as many runs to go on as you could want and shows like the Neal Egan are great.
You will get bufty's along side buckets and everyone and every car is welcome and that isn't words it really happens like that.

God help anyone who takes themseves or their car too seriously.

Abolish all judging, and allot the prizes on a ballot of everyone who turns up with a motor.
We're not Brazil, we're Northern Ireland

From my point of view the Escort 'scene' this year has suffered because of work and home commitments.

Mostly my free time has been spent decorating and kitchen fitting, along with other household duties

I attended the Lakes and AVO, and I'll be going to Battlesbridge tomorrow, also National day.

I did try to organise the RSE 'works team' stand at Classic Ford, but had only two takers ! The fact that it clashed with an RSOC show didn't help.

I do feel however that it's (The scene) lost it's mojo this year !
                  Cheers Rob.
