Been watching a little project on Ebay, over tea I was glancing at it on the iphone (bad manners I know) and the wife asks about it, I relay my interest in it to her and explain that it finishes in about 15 minutes, bidding was still below what I would have topped out at, "are you bidding she says ?" , I said I'd keep an eye on it and nip to the pc, 5 minutes pass and she's behind me at the pc asking what the bidding is on, its creeping up but still within range, I'm hovering over the keys already logged in and she's egging me on, permission to buy but I chicken out

Am I getting old sons, and maybe a bit sensible
