Fire
Some scumbags decided to break into one of the units next to mine.
Not satisfied with pinching a load of bits they torched the place.
^ The remnants of next door ^( separated by a corridor from my unit)
This resulted in my unit being severely smoke damaged, and ruining some of my second hand stock. Most notably a pair of mint FORD front grilles that were next to the joining door - they look like black silly putty now.
Thank God that Fireman Sam made a swift appearance, otherwise it could have been much worse !
The response to this fire was 4 fire appliances, several police cars, the local forensic team and special, personal treatment from the Essex police area commander ( who happens to be an old mate of mine and also rents a unit on the same site - just goes to show it's not what you know but who you know !)
