Well even Labour said it would go up! They dropped it to 15% last year BUT said we would have to pay later,but its up in Ireland,Spain,Greece,so get your expensive stuff bought before the hike

Shouldn't be that bad, they have reduced corporation tax by 1% per year for the next 3 years, the vat doesn't come into force until january!
2.5% on goods probably won't be noticed, although it will hurt at the pumps!

So far I think the new government has done a decent job, they seem to be trying their best to be open and fair. It boils my pish when the opposition jeers and heckles, it was them dickwods that left it in the state it is, remember the letter the labour treasury minister left on his desk "sorry , theres no money left !", well that nob was sat on the front bench today heckling ....!!!
