bought a new classic ford

my dad has been long term ill and spends most of his time in hospital so to cheer him i set out to get him a classic ford to cheer him up.went to view a ford capri mk11 gl i heard about local in glasgow it turned out to be pretty mint and with 28,000 genuine miles.the guy took a stroke years ago and couldnt drive it .i drove it home last night and it went perfect over the m8 moroway to my side of glasgow.will get pics up as soon as i can.its roman bronze with a beige vynil roof and factory sunroof.chrome is near mint as is inner wings,sills etc.wee blister on both front wings and a wee bit on arches.and the price was even better

Had a look at it today with BJ.Every clip and hose is still intact.by the time you have finished with it John it will be a cracker

You's were fairly goin well on the way home on motorway...so tempted to change the diff 5k at 70mph is a nightmare!, needless to say that why I passed yous after the roundabout then had to slacken off again...doh! lol

ha ha craig the only reason you got us at the rounabout was because we had no brakes ,pedal went to floor on the way up.fixed them todaythe old car can go a bit my old man was screaming to slow down and offered a few obcenities about how i would get us both killed
