At the beginning you see if it as a game, the chase is on, slowly but surely your opinion changes, its no longer a game, YOU JUST CANT FIND THE RIGHT BL--DY CAR, it must have been a few days since my last gripe, I have to say, i,m struggling now to keep the motivation up, you look at so many that aren,t right, and it slowly pulls you down,,,,,and NO i dont need any rope !! just thought i,d share that with you lot. So come on in the words of the great Delia "Lets be aving yer" , "Come on, where are ya," should get a laugh if nothing else, onwards and upwards.

Hi,
The way I look at it my sights are real low......looks like I'm about to buy an RS2 that's currently in a rally setup. I'll be stripping it back to a road car....loadsa work!
I don't wanna buy a concourse car, or a car that just needs a little work......I want a project that will take a couple of years and at the end I'll have a car with MY name all over it.
With my sights set real low I'm starting with the following.....
I want my garage to look like a bomb-zone, I want to lose important bits, I want the GF to throw out hard to get bits she thought was rubbish. I want the people that'll spray the car to ****-up the bonnet, I want to set fire to the interior as I weld the chassis legs, I want stuff to cost a lot more than I'd ever believed, I want to bash my knuckles and scrape my knees..........and most of all I want to wish I'd never started!
.......The only way is up!
Supreme satisfaction and enjoyment but only after a lot of blood sweat and tears it is then!
Ian.
