Hey i am going to be in london at the end of October 2010!!

Where do recommend me to go Escort wise ie is it worth going to burtons for a look or are the car musems or show around, gartrac are parts places to see! or should just stick to the london eye and the tower of london?

yep, quite a few and they give you a ride you wont forget

I'm doing all the tourist stuff this weekend, I live in London but never do all the sites.

www.visitlondon.com has some good info, best way to get around is with an Oyster Card and you can prepay these and just hop on and of the train and buses all day long. www.tfl.gov.uk/oyster they can even send them out to you by post.

I wouldn't bother mate. There's nicer places to see. That aren't just a tourist rip-off.

Well just got back home from doing some of the London sights.
Saturday did afternoon tea in Fortnum & Mason which sounds a bit toff but is great and relaxing, followed by taking in the longest running stage show - The Mousetrap.
Sunday started off at the Tower of London, this is great and you could spend the whole day here. Be prepared to do lots of walking up and down steps so not suited for anybody with any walking disabilities then onto the London Eye which has great views of London and ended the day having a nice meal.
Going to do a sight seeing tour on Monday with a trip up and down the river.

I have lived in London all my life and never done any of this stuff.
So I say to all, get out in your home towns and become a tourist you will have a great time

sorry but if somobody is coming half-way around the globe I think that is so negitive.
Yes some tourist stuff is on the high price side of things but most are worth the time and money, you don't do them everyday now.
Lots of free stuff to do in London as well which are on the tourist routes you just need to do some homework.
