Surprised residents spot vulture on Bridgend house

A vulture has been spotted perched on a house roof in the south Wales town of Bridgend.
The vulture, which is not native to the UK, is usually seen picking on the carcass of dead or dying animals on the African savannah.
Experts believe the 3ft (91cm) tall bird may have escaped from a falconry centre or a local bird collector.
Keen photographer Simon Keenor grabbed his camera to take a picture before the bird flew off.
'Quite tame' Mr Keenor, 47, said: "It was a bit of a shock to see a vulture staring around looking for its next meal.
"Normally we get a few sparrows and magpies around here - not giant birds of prey.
"But it seemed quite at home even though he must be thousands of miles away from his usual haunts."
An RSPB spokesman said: "They're usually quite tame - if they do fly down to land on someone it is because they think it is their handler - they're not attacking anyone."
