    your be happy to hear

    Giraffes to arrive soon

Cotswold Wildlife Park is delighted to announce the imminent arrival of three Male Giraffes.

Century (four years old) and Koife (aged nine) from Colchester will be joined by another three year old male from Blair Drummond. They will all be arriving at the Park at the start of June 2010 and following successful introductions will be on show to the visiting public a week or so after their arrival.
The Park is pleased to be able to provide valuable support to international breeding programmes by housing an all male group; space for groups such as these is scarce due to the demand for breeding females.
We feel they are an ideal species to complement the natural landscape of the Park and look forward to helping them settle into their new environment.
Keep an eye on our website and facebook page for updates on their arrival over the next week or two.

Stroll around the Park and get eye-to-eye with Giraffe, watch Rhinos graze on the Manor House lawns, walk with Lemurs, ride on the train or explore the adventure playground.
