My wife and daughter want to have a shopping weekend for my daughters 15th birthday

So I need a hotel suitable for train and shops etc

Ive stayed in loads of s hitholes in london while working down there , dont think your missus and daughter would be impressed with them though

Stayed here a few years ago, wasnt too bad
fairly easy to get to and had a station very close, i think ??

Really depends on your budget, I've stayed at the Royal Garden which is nice and not to far from places with good bus and train links.

I would stay away from some of the cheap B&B's as these do have a bad image.

If you want no frills and just a clean place to lay your head down then the easyhotel is not bad, the wife and I stayed in the London one as it was cheaper than getting a cab home to West London

i stayed at a place called the Bonnington hotel in bloomsbury not too long ago, was very very nice. Fairly priced and the breakfast was spot on! could be worth a look
