Anyone bother with them anymore? Picked up a couple lately and must be honest apart form the odd one off feature they seem damned poor compared to how they were. Poor editing and spelling mistakes galore in one June magazine...

So does anyone bother with them?

I have had Classic Ford since it started but when my current subscription runs out, that's it. All it seems to be interested in these days cossied escorts and what they can do on a drag strip which doesn't interest me in the slightest.
Can't remember the last article on a standard RS Escort.

Cancelled our CF subscription 3 years ago....so can anyone enlighten me in the current Retro Ford why the Yellow MK2 is described as a Mex but stickered as a 1600 Sport...

Ford Heritage was in a different league really...

RF seem to feature more standard cars then CF .... but CF feature a lot of mk1 fiesta's which again i like

The precursor to Classic Ford, first issue was in 1993 iirc...was genuinely very different written more like a book than a magazine if that makes sense..

i buy classic ford and retro ford each month, i also get retro car and practical classics most months too.

i'm pretty happy with how all four of them are, it's nice to have a good mixture of different cars both modified and standard to read about.

I don't really see how a magazine could stay interesting just writing about standard cars, surely once they have written one article all the rest will be pretty much identical?

my escort isn't an RS though, maybe that makes a difference?
