  • bare metal/prep and spray costs

what sort of price does a bare metal prep and respary job cost, i know a lot of you guys do your own, but i was wondering what to be prepared for as i cant do it myself, ie if i was to take a shell in and get it sorted etc etc, i realise its a "how long is a piece of string" question. but without excluding any welding has anyone got any guidelines ??????

          paintwork

At the end of the day you get what you pay for.
Always go to someone with experience with escorts...a classic car restorer may not always be the best bet.
And most important,if your thinking of buying a mk2 to restore always buy the best possable to start with, save a forture on panels and even more getting them fitted.
          Good luck
