He home safe and sound
Me and Si spent this morning replacing his head gasket
(worse blown head gasket I have ever seen - did anyone get a pic ?)
had no glue for the alloy rocker cover gasket and this leaked on the M6 on way home but he managed to stem the flow of oil and was able to get home
Main feeling is engine "leaned-off" at max top end so more work to be done to sort so it doesnt happen againcheeRS

Made for an interesting weekend to say the least, 3 and a half hours on my own in a pub in the middle of nowwhere!
Thanks to pete and rob, rick and mike the panel for keeping me in there,
wilf and young ginge for helping today, lee mitch and mark for putting my mind at ease with the offer of a lift home on the truck, oggie for the headgasket(sorry i didn't say thanks in person, my head was up my a***, please let me know what i owe you) bob for the offer of some love to make me feel better(declined as my spines only just better from last time) and yet again The Custom (best leave it at that)
Was worth it for the race upto the pub though me dave and the nissan turboed car doing what mk2's do
