hearing reports of 17 mile tailbacks from jct 8 to jct 5, hope those heading north to the lakes have got through it ok, appears the air ambulance has had to land on the motorway

Just came southbound along M5 and its still very slow moving. Still,M5 and M6 both stationary late morning around Birmingham/ Wolverhampton. I can see those temp guages rising....
