Tractive is the way to go, I navigate with a friend and he's using a tractive with a 2.0ltr John Read Astra. No complaints at all, we do about 10 rallies a year, only do a check twice a year, replace the dog gears at the end of the year.

Tractive is the way forward if you have £11,000 lying about . Better than buying 5x £5000 gearboxes that break every week though !!!!!
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

Speak to Tyron Gerbez he would do good price on box, and go tractive, i get to see a lot of boxes mated to our engines and abused in rally cars.

I have seen so many break but tractive v good, also drop gears handy to change.

It makes no sense to buy a box without a drop gear these days to allow for future plans, different wheel size, cpw change, selling etc.

Tractive has by far the best reputation.
Saenz is also getting a strong reputation here and bullet proof with great selection of ratios.
Also worth considering is Dave Plants 'McRae Box'

Just been talking about the quaife 59G and yet another person saying the Elite box is not strong enough...

To many people have said that now

Does anyone know what power the tractive box will take ?

Some of the top escort drivers here in Ireland are starting to use Saenz boxes with the flatshift system. Mike is a top gent with advice on what type box to use. If you google Mike Quinn or Edward O'Callaghan you should get some incar footage of them using the boxes, with Millington and Vauxhall power mk2's.
