I work on a car (260 bhp escort) that has had Elite & Tractive boxes.
The Elite box was good when it was working (bloody noisy) but needed regular repairs by Elite. Elite did offer very good support though.
The owner gave up & sold the Elite box to fund a Tractive..
The Tractive box is a very nice bit of kit, no signs of failing yet despite some real abuse, loverly engineering with a slicker gear change & less noise.
Heard good stuff about Quaifes 60G box too but horror stories about customer service

The new Quaife 6-speed heavy duty in-line RWD sequential gearbox has been designed as a direct replacement for the Ford Sierra Type 9 gearbox, and incorporates a modular gear cluster on 80mm shaft centres.
Quaife has returned to its first principles with this new heavy duty in-line gearbox, opting for a cutting edge, clean-sheet design. The result is a new 6-speed sequential unit, the QBE60G, which weighs in at just 38 kilograms.
Designed for rear wheel drive applications capable of handling up to a maximum of 400 lb/ft and 450 bhp, the QBE60G offers ultra-rapid and smooth gearshifts, allied to superior strength and reliability, and even features paddle shift compatibility.
The Quaife 6 speed heavy duty in-line RWD sequential gearbox has been designed with open face dogs on both the gears and drive discs to allow for easier gear inter-changeability.
The Quaife 6-speed heavy duty in-line RWD sequential gearbox has a drum type sequential gearchange system which produces a positive engagement with the gear lever position options.
Not an option due to the power

Got this back from Elite..
We have our IL300 6 S which is a 6 speed sequential. We have it running just over 500 ft lbs in a few applications without problems, you do have to manage the box at this level as we only officially rate it to 500.
We do have our new IL700 in development which is due for release in 2011 which will be rated to 900ftlbs.
The 300 is £4,600+VAT – I attach an installation drawing, come back to me if you need any more information.

Expensive to buy, but cheaper in the long run.
