I'm still stuck out of the country!
Had to phone up to cancel my rolling road session. Tried to re-book it, earliest they can do is Thursday!! That will be pushing it close!!
It might have to go on the rollers fully packed ready to go
            Cheers

Serviced mine last week, after getting it back from "storage"* a couple of weeks ago.

                  * (Glyn's garage, where it lived while I had his car in for welding- I'm running out of room at the workshop )

This week I've been quite busy with customer cars, but Tuesday I helicoiled the tops of the IDF's where the M6 studs had pulled through - those big old Gp1 air boxes put a lot of strain on the carb tops !!

Today, after making the fatal mistake of poking a screwdriver though a rusty scab, I mostly spent repairing and painting said 3" x 2" hole in the top of the O/S rear 1/4 !!

I forgot to get a picture of the hole, all I need to do is re-do the black, and fit the window back in.

Still got to MOT it, but I'm confident of a pass

Tomorrow I'll be fitting an exhaust (on, of all things a Daihatsu Terios ) and fitting a std x-member and engine mounts to a nice white RS2000 that I'm collecting from the customer in the morning.

Maybe I'll MOT mine on Saturday ? Or shall I leave it until Thursday of next week
                  Attached Files
                  Cheers Rob.

Hurrah - just checked online and I have 2 months left on the MOT, so sod getting another 12 months tomorrow!

Wheels are done and am picking them up tomorrow from SpitnPolish.
Few new bits from Escort-tec and Burton to fit and going for a drive tomorrow, can't wait. Haven't driven the RS for about 7 months, so looking forward to getting back to some side ways action. Might even get round to fitting my snazzy sun-strip that arrived today!!
