Here is little taste of the classic Ford scene in this part of the world. I'm one of the organisers and we had about 550 cars turn up this year on April 11th. I have no idea who put this together though!

Have you guys ever thought of running this at one of the race tracks? So when you get bored of looking at the stationary displays you can also see some of the cars in action or take your own Ford for a skid?

A couple of problems with that. 1 - the track costs more than $3000 per day and 2 - its too far from where all the people are and we definitely wouldnt get average joe public there in the same numbers as North Harbour Stadium.

Yep it certainly is but its about 10 times the size now with marketing and advertising and on the other side of Auckland. We even have Ford NZ full support now which we didnt have when we had it in their carpark!
