Ford garage St Austell

Just got back the history on my car from day1 from the DVLA.

The car was registered at UBM Motors St Austell on Slades road.

Does anybody remember this dealer or have any pics of it?

Just looking for interest really.

Looking on Google Street View I would say it is now an Aldi Store !

IIRC it became a Vospers dealership in the 90s

Yeah, had a quick look myself. Did a search and it looks like Evans Halshaw bought them out in about 1988.

went to Lands End last week and saw two Vosper dealerships on the way down there.

UBM were also in salisbury iirc

Dont have a pic of the plates/tax disc holder or dealer sticker by any chance do you Mine was supplied by UBM FORD cardiff was going to get Topaz to do some plates for me if I could get a pic for him cheers Paul

I used to work there, became Cornish Ford in 1989 and Vospers in the Late 90's

And Dave is correct it is now an Aldi
