    Sorry to read about you having difficulty in insuring your newly built car.

    You won't want to hear this but you'll probably have a better chance of getting insurance if you stick a standard 1300 engine in it for now until you are older as these insurance companies are just not interested in young male drivers as they are too much of a risk. Just look at how many Saxos and Corsas driven by young drivers are screaming about and many have ending up in fatal accidents. You may be a really careful driver but these others have spoilt it for you. When you are older and have gained a few years decent driving history then you should have a better chance.

    I would try some of these companies again and ask them what would you have to do for them to insure you.....then you will know where you stand!

    Bye the way, don't knock being 21 years of age, I would happily drive a 1300 to be that again.

              Theres no way i'm puttimg a 1.3 back in. do nothing for my image driving round town in a li lo look alike that don't go

                  Nothing major, just the norm for an escort
                  Would be great if you could sort something.The most annoying thing is adrian flux would insure it back in september for £780, but i thought i would leave it till now as it wasn't finished. now they won't tuch me
