1st quick drive round the block

Took the RS for a quick spin (not litterally lol) round the block to bed the brakes in and generally just to see what it felt like (mot in the morning)

Felt a bit strange to be honest, very upright compared to modern cars (must add its the 1st time i've driven the car and the last time i drove a mk2 was about 20 years ago)

Steering wasnt as heavy as thought it would be

Just a bit of resonance when just above idle but seamed ok when driving?
5 speed lever was close to opening so maybe that?

i took mine out today first time in 6 mths just need to t&t it now

i know how you feel i took mine out on sat first time since 1991 was a wierd feeling but very nice smile factor 10

Mine booked in for test at end of month!, Seemed soooo much faster all them years ago and felt like they handled.Nearly go through the windscreen when getting in the mazda and brake at first junction!

wont even go into comparing the gti6,but dont smile as much in them two.
