MULTIPLE CARS INSURED ON 1 POLICY

DO YOU KNOW IF ITS POSSIBLE TO HAVE UP TO 5 CARS INSURED ON ONE POLICY, BUT YOU ARE NOT A CAR TRADER ?

Yes it is, I renewed my Escorts insurance with Heritage and they offered to quote me, but as soon as I mentioned my teenage children, it was no can do.

They did quote for my wife and I to drive all cars but worked out more expensive. Plus no claims bounus is not applied.

About 5 years ago,I used to get a policy that had No REGISTRATION numbers on,so I could in fact have used it for any one of 5 cars and a motorbike I had.But now all my insurance policy's have registration numbers on.I feel they are tightening up.
I do some car trading,but I think they need a business premises ,and maybe trade plate no to do that now,BUT I stand to be corrected.
I use a friends trade plates now.

you can get multi cars on classic insurance policys,trader policys have clamped right down on what cars they cover u on +with more get out clauses than tony blair+only pay out trade price in event of a claim,mine was due for renewal last month +with all the get out clauses it wasnt worth the paper it was written in the event of a claim

we have a small fleet policy, 2 vans and two cars,can drive anything else even hire cars,self employed though, any driver as its the vehicles that are insured,younger the driver the bigger the eccess.

As the others have said classic car policies can do multi-car insurance on one policy . They want all the cars over 25 years old and locked up in brick buildings and won't insure some makes together on one policy . For example i can't have my Porsche 911 insured with my mk1 escort , they have to be on seperate policies .

again......like nearly all of the postings on here......mostly bollocks!!!!!!!.cb radio without radios!!!!!....hagarty will cover multiple cars on one policy......dont all have to be over 25 years old.....will cover family drivers including under 25's.....various cars.....escorts....lotus elise......mx5.......single seaters...vans....off road cover....all agreed values.....very competitive premiums...my premium is around £600.00. for 8 vehicles at one time....around £75.00. to £80.00. per vehicle on average......great value........keith.

It depends on WHICH insurance company you ring and each individual case though . Mine won't insure all my cars on 1x policy , i had to take out 2 different ones .
