The mk1 has been a long time coming ! and now just booked my place on the lakes tour so and that will spur me on to get her finished ! retro ford november 2009 page 110 bottom right - p.s does anyone want to buy the jig she was sat on for restoration and paint as our lass thinks its a crap garden ornament ! see yas there !

ive a delema
my mk1 rs2 which has done lakes tour 2 times needs a little tidy u but nowt major
ive a second rs2 thats nearly finished but needs to be sold to release some dosh
and ive a big pinto mk1 that needs a respray
do i go with old faithfull
or do it with second rs2 to display and sell
or do it in 3rd car and enjoy
think il have a buisy few months

Ater being warned off by Oggie and Ruddy from a 'full' rework of the engine bay and odds and sods, I decided to do a mild make over instead and got a bit carried away!!! Got a bit to do but should get there

Last run was London to Le Mans last year, which we did without fault, post new engine/box/diff/suspension/brakes etc.

MOT time in a few weeks, and since being tucked up for winter, the car will have no doubt managed to stop working some how

could be doing with finishing a few things like bits of paint(painters job)
front struts and fix exhaust not an awful lot but i'll be there whith it even if it aint 100% and tax it again only done 300 miles on the one thats on it (i'm all for pay as you go )

tidy the mk1 up after her stint in tthe woods and swap gearbox from tran x type 9 with tall 1st to standard type 9 just for the lakes....dont want to attempt a hill start on those mountains! ....I would have to reverse up! lol
