Fair play to the organisers for this event. Ive only done the one event but agree that priority should go to the lads that have done them all. I'll try and book as & when I'm allowed as its a great event.

I've unfortunatly have never done the Lakes tour due to the distance, coming from Cornwall, but agree priority should be given to those that have made the event as popular as it is, but all is not lost for those of you that want to do a tour, there is cornwalls rsoc moors tour (good strong diff required) and aleds snowdon tour to name just a few.

Full respect to this as an event and all the palpable hardwork that goes into organising it. Never been on it myself, as perhaps a little too big for an old recluse like me though am in the Lakes a lot with walking boots and rucksack Hope it goes smoothly for one and all anyway!!

Hello,
My real name is Ari Vatanen. I have never done the tour before. I'd like to bring one of my old cars along. You may know it, reg DKP 191T - was rolled into a ball many years ago but I have just had it completely rebuilt specially to do the Lakes Tour 2010. Also my old navigator David Richards, he has a bit of spare time on his hands of late, wants to come too. What are my chances
PS I've been having a chat recently to Malcolm - some of you may know him. He says you are welcome to come along to his workshops while you are in the lake district and if you are on your best behaviour he might also let you have some passenger rides round the rally stage in his forest nearby in Greystoke. You can either use the latest WRC car or one of his old toys from his collection - take your pick.
