    Try putting up some plaster backed thermal board (32mm-50mmthick)
    insulates wall & absorbs sound...?

        Had word that he has promotion and has to move may 17th, he is in special forces.

        We are going to decorate so the plasterboard idea is going to happen.

        just incase next lot are just as bad.

            If your going to plasterboard order sound block sheets they are blue in colour.
            Put them on top of a layer of plank boards.This will kill most of the noise.

              Double check before you buy wayne! I have this sound insulating board on my lounge wall (party to next door) You mount it on metal bars to add an air gap between board and wall. I put it up when we moved in so as not to disturb next door with surround system etc! I say check because i'm sure it only works in one direction(will find out), and it's firkin expensive! You will find the sound will travel through the floor so you would need to sort this also!
