Stressful situation to be in........and one that needs control from your part which you appear to be doing well. Once you flip and get physical, it gets you into trouble (not necessarily found guilty of anything) , but just the whole procedure that generally takes place following a physical assault.

As stated above, tape it, diarise it, video record the stuff outside, get as much evidence as you can. I would not tell the neighbours what you are doing, as this might provoke them.

Then make a complaint to the local council who have an obligation to investigate noise nuisance. It does not just apply to council tennants.

Take a look at the following links for any more tips.

Hiring a specialist to do your commercial Plumbing in London will save your business money and time, so book now for a visit from UKOOA.

Noisy neighbours may often not be aware of the problems they are causing, so speaking with them directly at an appropriate time is often the most effective way of resolving a noise problem you’re experiencing.

In another month hopefully your baby will keep them awake and you will sleep through it !

not good wayne, have heard/seen programmes on this and must be very stressful when it happens to you, as said i believe you need to contact the council with evidence, they will then set up their own gear etc

alternatively i have a cd copy of frostys band here...that should do the trick

        hope it gets sorted Wayne,

I had the same problem in my old house. When the new neighbours first moved in all was fine then the noise started. Loud music, doors slamming, shouting, diy in the middle of the night, all the usual stuff that pi**es you off. It got so bad I sold up and moved which cost me about £15000. Then I was driving past about 3 months later to see a sold sign on their house. Then I really was pi**ed off

              noise

report them to your local NOISE ABATEMENT officer,at the council.I had a problem that 3or4 of my neighbours decided that as I had too many cars and had down housed onto (THEIR) road and altered my house ,They said that i should have stayed in m,y big house.Jealousy crept in and they objected to one of my planning aplications.SO once passed I went about them, reported a guy with a horse box outside his house all the time ,Licensing authority made him park it in a transport yard, another with landili trees growing over the footpath, council gave him 14 days to cut them back.Guy opposite rebuilding an MGB ,banging grinding all day .Got a noise abatement order on him,and stopped him doing any more on his car.Kept records of all his noise, and stopped his renovation.DO not be frightened of these guys no matter how big they are,!

It is unreasonable behaviour on their part.

Report to the council and make a note of everything in a diary.

Your wife is pregnant and they should have more consideration.

If the noise is between 11pm and 7am it's deemed unreasonable.

We had this problem with tenants next door last year for 6 months of hell - they have since moved out and a lovely lady has moved next door with her little boy - he squeels a bit but they're lovely compared to the last lot!

The council should do something about it!

As already stated, keep a diary of it and record the noise and video evidence when you can. Then inform them that you have a catalogue of evidence and they will be reported.
We had a similar problem last year with our neighbours. Not the parents but with their little kid. He kept throwing stones at the dogs with his little bas**rd pals to antagonise them and then they started throwing them at the house windows. My missus told our neighbour about it to which she replied ` nonsense my little boy wouldn`t do that`!!!!!. SO we video taped it when we could and then confronted her and told her we would be contacting the police. She soon put a stop to it !!

They have since moved as the dad got transferred with his job.
