    now to the sad bit.....
Breakers (wreckers) yards here dont keep any Escorts. If you had a Gemini, an Opel Kadett copy well no problems you can find them. So to find any good Escorts in these yards, they get snapped up real quick. Just finding parts is getting harder.
Thats why i'm looking to set up some sort of arrangement for parts from over there!

Make sure you get proper copies of all owners documentation from over there as well as shippping, taxes, customs paperwork etc as you will need them all to get the car registered via DVLA on an age related plate.

Don't forget to price for having the container 'bombed' over there to ensure all nasties are gassed, don't want no red back spiders in our tropical climate

Looks a nice wee car and the Oz seats are very comfortable.

      Cheers, Paul

Car is a 76, thank you for the offer mate, but the car is in Albury at the minute, I have a very very nice man going from Newcastle to melbourne with a car trailer who's going to look/pick it up on the way, just hope it is as good as its supposed to be

Mike, If you get stuck for a shipping agent let me know, I'll be with Graeme this weekend to pick it up for you...

And as for the red backs that come with the car dont worry about then landing over there they will probably die as soon as you open the container with the cold...lol

As Barry (Driverace ) says Ro Ro is the cheapest way otherwise you need a frieght consolidater which basically means you share the container with other shippers and the frieght company organizes the deal.
