un beknown to Cortina Jim, ive secretly fitted a gps global tracking device to his car for when he was going to do the recce and this is what ive downloaded from it

looks like he got a bit lost around Coniston for some reason

I have done a tour route just for Grum got one or two details to put in but i can let you know the main route
Leave Heaves travel on the shortest route to CONISTON village park in CONISTON walk down to CONISTON lake ,have a sail on CONISTON lake, back to CONISTON village ,have a cup of tea in CONISTON tea shop,Walk up CONISTON old man mountain ,get air ambulance to take you back to CONISTON car park ,get back in car leave CONISTON village and retrace route to Heaves hotel, bore everybody at hotel about your great day in CONISTON

No roads on that route gummy you would need more than an escort
You could do that route in your ranger its called green laneing
Or Mountaineering for lazy 4X4 owners

No not Frosty sat nav it only take you off road and the underside of the cortina does not want shot blasting with stones
