was given a 'Seagate external hard drive' for my birthday at the weekend to store/back up all my pictures of the rs shows, rallies etc over the years -
so they are all nice and safe now if the 'puter ever goes tits up - my 5 year oldish Packard Bell had about 72 gb memory and was almost up to the brim with 6 gb to go
this new 1 tb has basically 931 gb free , so i guess ive got a few years to fill that up -
would be a good idea if you have lots of pics/info that you dont want to lose -
think they range from £30 - £60 nowadays (price has dropped loads) and you can even get them from Tescos -
all you do is plug in, register and copy in what you want - Simples
