Hi All
My lad has a old Ipod touch and the sound is only coming out of the left channel ,When you play with the plug it comes back on the other for a second so it must be the plug socket and after a bit of research its a common fault so I got a new plug socket off Ebay and thought I would have a go at fitting it myself cos Im not to shabby with a soldering Iron if I say so myself
Any way I takes the back off it and sod that its tiny
Asked a mate of mine that into stuff like that, And he said sadly it must go back to apple??? Surely not? any advice well apprectiated

Someone has suggested I take it back to a apple store and they usually sort it for free
or even replace it foc!!!! Might be worth a try
