Dutch Mk1/2 meeting

Hi,

we are planning a Mk1/2 Escort meeting this year, over here.
What dates are already booked ?
Like RSOC National Day, AVO National Day, Lakes Tour etc.
Could you all post the important dates here please so we do not clash with someother meeting?

Is Snowdonia Tour again 2nd weekend in september??

We had a look at a different venue this afternoon.
Not far of the old Baarlo-circuit where the early RS meetings were.
With other events in August and September and the unknown date of RSOC National Day we may opt for the 3rd of October.
The good news is, it will be an indoor & outdoor event!!
Enough space indoors for all the Mk1/2 Escorts you can think of
Plus an indoor slalom/sprint/circuit as well ...
And if the weathers kind to us, all the doors can be opened.

Who would be definately be interested in coming to this event?
Ofcourse we would help in any way possible with accomodiation etc.

october a bit late for the camping was a great atmosphere looking at all the euro cars was happy days summer would of been better unsure if i would make it over for a october date just my opinion leon hope you get this off the ground

As Ricky says Leon that might be a bit late, lot of UK cars only taxed until September.

I wouldnt overly worry about the date clashes, book whats good for yourselves, sometime in late August would be good.

Me and Bigboy want to tie in a 'Ring' trip at the same time.

Ricky, 2 of the first 3 meetings at Baarlo were on the first Sunday of October.
Paul, didn't know about the tax-situation overthere, good info.

Say that if we book it for the 12th of September do you think the clash with the European Ford Event would be a terrible thing?
(older Fords to our event, newer to the EFE)
