Glad she's ok, these thieving feckers don't deserve the time of day in my opinion, they are everything that is wrong with our society these day, no conscience and no morals.
Many years ago, 22 to be precise, I was working at a small engineering company in Brierley Hill, we were looking for somebody to replace one of the lads who was leaving. This guy with a briefcase turned up with a young lad who was 17. Turns out he was his parole officer and my gaffer at the time was giving him another chance as he'd been done for about 25 burglaries over the last 4 years or so, I thought he was being very liberal and I told him (my gaffer) that I would kick the living daylights out of this thieving scumbag if he as much as even touched my tea mug let alone anything else, I was told to give him a chance so I did. He came on time for two days then on the third he turned in about an hour late, he was black and blue, covered in dried blood and not walking to well. He went into the office and thirty seconds later he was thrown out and I was asked to "escort him for the premises". As I was walking him out I asked what had happened, turns out he'd gone back to his old ways and broke into someones house, not just anyones house though, one of the hardest bouncers in the Black Country, as it happened he woke up, caught hold of the little sh1t and he'd literally kicked him all the way to the police station.....no doubt he probably got his wrist slapped and an extension to his parole but for that brief ten minutes of him being kicked to the police station there was some justice!

It’s so unclear what you can and what you cannot do in a situation like this, and something needs to be done abouit it!

Listening to a discussion on the radio the other day, I believe we do have the rights to “have a go” at these intruders within reason, to protect others, our property and ourselves. That is to defend ourselves without inflicting permanent damage to them, but once they are on the retreat we cannot continue to go on and “beat them up”. We can let them go or just do enough to restrain them while we call the police and wait for them to deal with it. If we overdo things and beat in their brains leaving them with permanent brain damage then we will then be seen to be the aggressors and will be dealt with accordingly.

I was listening to a case the other week about the thief that began to run off but the house owner ran after him then beat his brains out which has now left the thief permanently brain damaged. The house owner ended up in court facing a charge for harming the thief and was sent to jail.

It's so disturbing that these characters think they can continue to get away with despicable behaviour like this.... this country has lost the plot somehow.

Thank goodness your auntie has not been harmed and I hope she gets her property back soon so she can enjoy her Christmas like she is entitled to do.

Lesson to be learned here is to drag them back in the house then beat the crap out of them , call it self defense. Over her you have the right to shoot intruders inside your house as long as you can claim self defense.
