Weather here has been atrocious today, absolute mayhem. Just got a lift home after a long 14 hr shift and was faced with this .......tons of snow and still snowing

Took me 2 1/2 hours to do 9 miles home from work...in their infinite wisdom they had sent out snowploughs which had taken the top layer off and left a nice polished none grip surface to drive on !!!
Really don't get the logic there at all, best part of trip though was catching a Discovery on the back lanes in my .......V reg Focus. I was chuffed at that..lol

We now must have about 1-1.5 foot deep outside the house as the last lot hadn't left us...
