Buying another car can wait. They've been around for 30+ years, another couple ain't going to hurt.

Go buy a tree, hang some hot wheels' cars from it, bit of snow spray and hey presto Happy days.

Come on mate! we are in this together!

Had to cancel my mk2 also

This would be my first mk2 and i could finally start building my group 4 dream machine.

But things are not going to well on the job so i had to make a choice and the family still comes in first place.

But heads up mate, our time will come!

Sorry to read about this Eddie, as they say it never rains but it pours...but it won't pour forever!

Do your best to have a great Christmas with your family and friends and hopefully fresh opportunities will come by next year for you. Just look at this as a blip in your life...things won't stay like this forever.

A Happy Christmas to you and your family, and the best of luck for the future mate.

Eddie you have to keep your chin up fella, listen to this for a year it may help. ( i wouldn't normally post this but it may make you feel better )

April 2008 my newly wedded wife and i buy our first house, a bit of a mess but we were comfortable financialy so we went for it and we could do it as we wanted, we moved in and more or less straight away the market plumeted. great!

Then my wife got made redundant, from a well paid job, Sh*t!, she has tried very hard since to get another but not much joy. now we have to survive on my money, and our savings went into the house.

My wife got v depressed which was difficult to deal with,

Then i had more trouble with my back, which had bothered me for years, but you just keep pushing on, the night i saw an rs1700t for sale in germany and purchase for a friend, i had horific back pain, i had suffered from 2 prolpsed discs before which gave me grief and sciatica all the time but this was on another level.

So bad i called the ambulance and they took me in, after mri and morfine they said my buldging disc had burst and gone into my spinal cord, i lost the feeling and partial movement in my left leg, the hospital i was at had me in for a week then sent me home with painkillers, by which time my wife had organised and bought the 17t and got it back from germany for my friend, or we would have lost it, she is a gud un.

I was in agony, i could hardly walk (and i am not a pussy ) i had to go to work for the money, and my boss was un sympathetic.

I then made an appointment to see prof eisenstien at oswestry orthapedic, he took one look at mri and got me in asap, i then had to make a decision on having a majour op that could paralise me (that was hard on everyone) but i had no quality of life as i was, so i went for it.

The op was successfull and pain is 99 % gone i still have no feling in leg but i can live with that.

Whilst i am in hospital my wife finds out she is pregnant with our 1st, and tells me when i get out, not planned but we are over moon. due when? APRIL 1ST HA HA.

Back to work to find that things arent secure there, as my boss has played away. (im thinking can things get any worse?) oh yeh

Im at work 2 weeks and start getting majour leg pain both sides?
an my viens start to show at skin, so much so a slight knock and they bled. off to docks to find i have a problem with my valves in groin, for blood flow but removing the vien top to bottom will help. *****!!!!!!

So i think get this done and thats it we be fine, after all if you havn't got your health you have nothing.

So op 2 12 weeks after op1 have it done on my birthday, all ok get home vvvvv sore, 2 days later i start to get infection which takes over my thigh, takes 3 weeks and lots of antibiotics to get rid. Bollo*ks

Still recovering but seems ok now.

I have two escorts to do and can't get to do anything at moment just working so hard to keep everything together, they may have to go but, i will do everything to keep em.

So Eddie sorry about the long winded story but keep you head up pal, im sure there are many more people with problems too, times are depressing.

Im looking forward to the new year, and i am not going to get my roadcar done for the lakes but, hopefully there will be 2011 for me. (who knows whats round the corner)
