DVLA prowling the side streets of Birmingham in a transit with 4 ANPR cameras on the roof.

They are activeley looking for untaxed cars & even have hotline number for folks to ring.

I would prefer to see 10 of these vans prowling around rather than a Speed Camera van anyday

I'm not against it either Dave... just never seen one of these vans before.

You know what it's like trying to drive into Brum
Take your pick of any eastern european country & you will find a car from said country
being driven by some one who seems to have taken lessons at the kamakazi school of motoring.

Thats without all the disqualified, uninsured, untaxed drivers that need taking off the roads.

See them all the time in West London, good thing too as to many un-tax and un-insured cars on the road

se the vans around south wales very often, also, as mentioned, usually followed in close proximity by the grab truck

I agree BUT I would rather be hit (well I wouldnt like to be hit at all) by a speeding insured driver than a speeding uninsured driver !
